Senior Digital Project Manager

Job description

The Project Manager is the glue between Correlate teams, our projects and our clients, ensuring that our clients remain delighted with our service and that our team delivers the best (and to plan). You will work with the entire team, collaborating across departments to enhance our output, build lasting relationships with our clients and drive our efficiency towards sound service delivery. This position is for someone who enjoys juggling a portfolio of local and international accounts, has a great customer service approach, superhuman planning and coordination abilities and wants to build close relationships with clients, partners and teams.

Management of Clients

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer project management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to earning potential
  • Maximise client profitability by ensuring that projects are properly scoped, minimise scope creep and making sure that expectations are managed by the client as well as internally
  • Liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience and project delivery processes
  • Manage the successful onboarding of new clients
  • Gauging and enhancing client health with systematic check-ins (internally and externally)

Team coordination

  • Drive teams to successfully deliver
  • Work collaboratively, motivate and encourage teams ensuring all team members remain focused on delivering the best work possible and feel supported in doing so
  • Mobilise project teams and coordinate project kickoffs
  • Effective onboarding and coordination of internal teams, 3rd party service providers and partners to ensure client delivery and project success
  • Liaising with teams to ensure that work is scheduled into production and is delivered on time
  • Briefing and coordinating 3rd party suppliers

Delivery Management

  • Creation, planning, development and ownership of project management strategy for every new and existing client scope of work
  • Integral in building and improving project management processes for better quality delivery of services
  • Ensuring all project related activities are kept on track, up-to-date, well-structured and communicated to the rest of the individuals involved
  • Up-to-the-minute comprehension of all project related activity based on project delivery, timelines, scope and future requirements
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our services according to client and project needs and objectives
  • Involvement in daily/weekly internal statuses and daily huddles with project management and the execution teams to discuss the status and actionable items of each client, managing the end-to-end delivery of outputs
  • Ensure that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that projects are profitable based on service requirements
  • Review all relevant deliverables to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met before sending to client
  • Identify, manage and mitigate against project risks at all times
  • Custodian of all relevant client-related documentation

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience and proven track record of previous project management  experience in Digital Marketing
  • A strong understanding of holistic digital marketing
  • Ability to balance what’s best for the client and what is best for our business
  • Excellent communication and written skills are required for internal and external stakeholder engagement
  • Performance and goal orientated
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to multitask, extremely detail orientated and highly organised.
  • Demonstrate a structured and methodical way of working, with the ability to cope with competing demands and effectively prioritise tasks
  • Great personal time management
